Since you asked...

A few clients have asked to see photos of my belly. They know that John has been documenting this pregnancy pretty much weekly. So I thought I'd share a few of the ones he shot this weekend while we were away. Looks like we have another maternity photographer in the making... he's so darn good! And he makes me feel so beautiful! He loves to play with different light sources, light from angles, etc so these were so different and fun. I'm so used to being the one doing the maternity photos, so it's weird for me to be IN them!

Happy Anniversary Babe!!

John and I are celebrating 12 years of knowing each other and 6 years of marriage this weekend. Our actual anniversary was Friday. We spent the weekend at a resort in Orlando having some downtime together and enjoy two days alone! We haven't ever done two nights alone so this was a welcome treat. We had a great time!

Carrie & Dennis!

This session was this past Saturday. Unfortunately these guys hired a different photographer for their wedding and weren't happy with the photos that they received from them, so they asked if we would reshoot some of their formals for them. It was quite a night... first off it rained when we were supposed to be outside shooting, so I made a desperate call to the Embassy Suites on I Drive and they allowed us to use their hotel for an indoor location. Thanks to Jennifer at ES! It's a gorgeous hotel and actually where my photography group will be having their convention this coming year. We got there and Carrie's son was feeling sick... poor guy! All in all though we got some fun shots! Had to share a few!

Friendly Reminder and Policy Notice!

This policy has been in place at CNP for quite some time, but wanted to post a reminder for our clients so that they were aware of it.

We do our best to get your photos online in a timely manner for you to view in your slideshows, order galleries, etc. We ask that you please do the same and place a timely order. All galleries expire after 10 days of being loaded to the internet. If you order within the first 3 days you will receive a early order savings of 10%. If you fail to place your order within the 10 day time frame, a $25 fee will be required to be paid prior to reloading the gallery. As a business we pay for the space that we use online. The first time we cover the costs of loading the gallery, but failure to order on time forces us to charge that fee to load the gallery again to our servers. If you choose not to place an order or not pay the fee for gallery reload, the images are placed into archive storage for 60 days. To retrieve those files is a $75 fee to pull them from the archives, and a $200 minimum order is required to do so. After 60 days all unordered images are deleted from the system.

As I'm sure you can understand CNP schedules sessions on a tight schedule. We leave time for us to work behind the scenes on editing, your orders, and filling and delivering those orders. Untimely ordering force us to put your order to the back of our workflow when it does come in as we have timely clients that will receive priority. To you this means a longer wait to receive your prints. We are headed into our busy fall and holiday season, and we are also having our second baby. We are strongly enforcing these policies in order to maintain the highest level of customer service and return of orders.

So please save yourself the extra money and get your orders in in a timely manner. It saves us time in the end which is why we offer that savings to you. As a business it hurts our workflow when orders come in late, so please plan accordingly. There are no exceptions to this policy. If your gallery expires without an order we require a fee to reload.

Congratulations Christine, Josh, & Kekai!

We are proud to announce the arrival of our new nephew! Makoa Daniel! He was born early, and weighs 6 lbs 8 oz. Congrats to Christine, Josh and big brother Kekai! We love and miss you so much!

John's shots from a workshop this weekend!

John attended a workshop this past weekend by Mike Fulton and Cody Clinton. He got some amazing shots while they were working with off camera flash and video light. Thought I'd share some of the images he captured. Loving these! Great job babe! HOT STUFF!

Noah turns one!

I've had a ton of one year olds lately! Noah turned one a few weeks ago, but we did his session on Saturday. Poor little dude did not dig gettin messy at all, and wasn't fond of the cake. He's been making this little pouty face since straight from the womb so his mom, dad, and I were giggling at him. What a cutie tho... he's such an easy baby to photograph. Happy Birthday Noah! My goodness I LOVED doing this session yesterday. Meet CJ, her hubby Brandon, daughter Jordan and baby in the belly. They are welcoming their baby boy on Tuesday. This has to be the most beautiful family... She puts me to shame with her perfect pregnant belly. She's one of those you just look at and wanna say "BITE ME!"...lol. Thanks guys for a great session. Computer Issues... UGH! Please bear with me!

So I'm not sure what is going on with my computer. It's crashed on me 3 times today and I can't seem to figure out what is going on with it. I talked to a computer repair person and he told me to run several tests on it to try to diagnose the problem. It's either a memory issue, power supply issue, or Windows issue. If it's a Windows issue I'm going to have to run a full re-install of Windows. Not fun... and will take me days probably just to save all of my programs and client information in order to wipe the system clean and start over. So please bear with me. If you have sent me an email and I don't respond right away I apologize. I only have internet access via my laptop right now and I can't get into my Microsoft Outlook from here. The CPU will be running tests for at least a day to get this all worked out and give me a starting point, so I may not be able to get back to people until Friday. I will get back to everyone as soon as I can! Thanks for your patience. In my business we live by our computers and all of my business transactions take place on it. It really stinks when something goes wrong because it can hold me up for days... ARGH!

The girlies turn ONE!

Happy Birthday to Ava & Addison! They are getting so big and are so much fun. These little ones have signed on with me for sessions until they are 5, so stay tuned to continue to see more of these two cuties as they grow up!

Another Fun Family!

These guys traveled to Florida to attend Devin & Josh's wedding. They wanted a beach family session the next day so we headed out to the coast for a shoot. It was a dreary day but we still had a great time. Click play to see a preview of their session!

Devin & Josh!!

I'm telling you... these two do NOT stop kissing... they just ooze romance and HEAT for each other! Almost as if everyone else is not even there...they just get lost in each other. This wedding was at the gorgeous Leu Gardens. It turned out to be a gorgeous day and we got some shots of Devin & Josh catching their first sunset together. Congrats to the lucky couple! Lyle's & Dan Get Married!!

This day was a fast paced fun evening! It seemed like the night just flew by, but it was such a great fun night. Lyles looked so elegant and beautiful, and Dan...well let's just say Ice Ice Baby...lol. Who knew he could get down and dance like that??? Wow! What a night! These guys were great! With thanks to Twin Rivers Golf Club, we had full access to the golf course for this great family session. We really enjoyed this particular evening. We all had quite a good time. Thought I'd share a few fun shots!

Just me...a shot by John!

John was outside tonight trying to get some shots of these cool clouds that looked like cotton balls, when I stepped in front of him. He told me to "do something"... I used to be a dancer, so I struck a dancer pose and this was what he got. The wide angle lens made my belly look bigger than it is, but pretty cool! Think we are going to try to get one of these once a month till this kiddo comes. We are lucky to have such gorgeous Florida sunsets!
